This website provides information on separation and divorce in Austria. Personal data is processed where necessary for contact, request handling, technical security, legal obligations and operation of the website.

When using the contact form, name, contact details, voluntary information and technical metadata are processed to handle the enquiry. Legal bases include precontractual steps, legitimate interests, consent and legal obligations.

The website uses technically necessary local values for navigation, form security and cookie choice. Statistics services are loaded only after active consent. The local value brandauer-klaro stores your choice; if you consent, Google Analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> may be set.

With your express consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Limited. Processed are anonymised IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, page views and click events. Form field content is not transmitted to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; consent can be withdrawn at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.

The website is delivered through Cloudflare. Technically necessary server log data such as IP address, browser and language settings, referrer URL and access time may be processed for security and performance. Standard contractual clauses are used for transfers to the USA; a residual Schrems II risk cannot be fully excluded.

Where Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled for the project, only aggregated access data is evaluated without cookies and without storing individual IP addresses. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in technically appropriate reach measurement.

Data subjects have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

Please do not send sensitive documents through channels that have not been approved. The firm will name the suitable transfer route after first contact.

Appointment booking with Calendly

Calendly LLC, USA, is used by us for online appointment booking. As our processor, your booking data, including your name, email address, telephone number where provided, selected appointment and any optional booking information, is handled by Calendly. When you access the booking service, technical data such as your IP address, browser information and time zone is also processed. Please do not enter confidential case details or sensitive personal data there.

On the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, your booking data is processed to arrange and manage the consultation you request. Where consent is required for optional cookies or similar technologies, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies together with section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021. Consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future.

Data is also processed by Calendly in the USA. Under Calendly's current data processing addendum, transfers occur pursuant to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework based on Article 45 GDPR. Should this mechanism cease to apply, the addendum stipulates the European Commission's standard contractual clauses under Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914.
